League of Resistance People is a Tech Melodic Hardcore band since 1999 based in Bekasi,Indonesia.
Biography..
In mid summer of 1999 on lil town Bekasi,Tommy began an internship at the place where his neighbour Rizky and Ferry was schooling. After a short conversation, where they found out that they had similar taste in music especially streetanarchopunx music, and they both played guitar and bass, they decided to do a jam session together and dealing with their Exploited-cover band 'No Scure' with ferry'...s bandmates on Daffai named Aldi and make a lil way on their punk rock-scene. but in 2001 when melodicore tunes-invasion goes to Indonesia beside Ska-punx meet their fallingdown,they got an idea to make a change with the music after hear some tunes like Not Available,NOFX,The Vandals etc. and decided to change a name with Little Ruthless Plan a.k.a L.R.P till now.
Because of this Tommy decided to look for a drumer who capables for this music in this time,they find Freakree from Bekasi HC band xStartTodayx coz their earlier additional drummer Amoy from Gamelan Oink doesn't have much time beside he so buzy with his band and Aldi can't continued anymore coz he getting married and too busy with his college and family..This went quite well, and soon they started working on songs that Rizky had written. The idea behind this was to get some songs worked out till L.R.P get their own first Compilation named 'Together As One vol.2'still on 2001 by Cherry Records.
Skip forward to early 2004,Ferry as a vocal had resign, but other guys wanted to still hang on with rizky as guitar-vocal, It was however going so well with Rizky's songs until they decided to look for a singer and find Tommy's school mate named Louie from other Melodicpunx band 621cx. However this search wasn’t very successful,in spite of the fact that he couldn’t playing guitar,leave alone at the same time as singer(so pity).
